PS2 How to upgrade OPL 10th Anniversary to Official OPL ver. 1.1.0

Hi,
I have Freemcboot with OPL 10 Anniversary (which is a daily build) on my PS2. I want to upgrade it to the official OPL ver. v1.1.0 or v1.2.0beta. What do I need to do?
I read that skinning system and configs are not compatible between OPL DB and OPL. What it means?

Thx for help

If that is named in our case, yes. But remember about deleting old config, or else it will probably hang.

Delete also ART resources because those which you have probably are 24/32bit images, and not in power of two proportions, while they should be PoT and 8bit to significantly reduce VRAM usage. OPLM can download for you these.

Thanks, I understand. One more question:) If I want to replace the OPL Daily Build with a newer OPL Daily Build, do I also need to delete opl_conf.cfg or not?

Things works that way that you can have application whatever you want, named whatever you want. There is no any rules established and it is user who deciding where storing programs (so you don't really need to replace anything). Many apps have hardcoded paths for external resources and configuration files, so it is handy to placing there also their executables.

FMCB/FHDB/PS2BBL know where you place executables because it is user which must provide correct paths. ;]

Thanks, but back to the question. If I want to replace the OPL Daily Build with a newer OPL Daily Build (or official build for the newer official build), do I also need to delete opl_conf.cfg or not?

There will be no new OPL DB because it is finally dead.
Yes, cfg can cause issues between different forks and versions, so it is best to just delete it or rename it.

Удалить opl_conf.cfg и все папки ART. Заменить исполняемый файл.
