I recently moved and most of my programs are on my other computer I used to install backups. It's been awhile since I have even installed any backups and I had some notes too. I ended up getting a bigger ps3 hard drive and moved over the evilnat cfw too so I can fit them on there, but I don't remember the whole process. I know there is pkg/rap files and other websites you can download iso's that typically need to be patched but most of my stuff is on another computer. If someone can post a link for a quick how-to on this site or from another site I'd be grateful.

What do you want to do, exactly?.

@guillote I'm looking for the program that downloads pkg/rap files from Sony's servers. That's the easiest way to backup games. I'm not sure how to backup from disk. Maybe if that's included in a good guide somewhere that would be helpful.

That would be against the rules. You can sniff links with a proxy, but you have to buy the game for the license. Just backup your exdata folder and idps for that.

I don't get why it's against the rules for sharing the name of a good program to download pkg files. I know that you can just use archive.org to get ISOs. It's just to backup a few games I already own so I don't need to insert the disk each time.

It's a slippery slope, man, for unscrupulous people who might want to pirate.

Fine. I support game developers and anti-piracy I already have a bunch of ps3 disks I'll just rip them from that. If anyone can provide a link for that or a good program on this site to download that'd be great.

Better read what you've just agreed upon for entering the forums: https://www.psx-place.com/threads/site-forum-rules-guidelines.79/

In any case, no help will be provided for getting RAP files nor game ISOs.
