Things like this (trust issues caused by non-delivery) is precisely why people don't want to spend money on donations and why drama exists in the first place, especially if you dangle a carrot behind a pay wall to begin with.

Crap like that needs to be called out more often, and also, how is asking questions "entitled and selfish" to begin with?

In the end Ghaleon777 I thought he was my friend on Facebook sometimes I noticed that he no longer appeared as a friend and then he sent me friend requests again, I fixed several games for him at his request Xenogears and the Real Robot Battle line, Lunar 2, to tell the truth I don't even know what happened here only that maybe he was having a bad day and took it out on me, I realized late that it was the same person because of his taste for mecha robots, his mania for CRT televisions and even the way he spoke and got angry, this same thing was repeated on the elotrolado page with the same person, something very strange the truth I tried to put my head to it but I didn't understand, that's the bad thing about being on the internet strange things happen with people and you don't even realize.

Well, things like this is why it's still not exactly great to be dealing with money through less transparent means to begin with, and it's also one of the primary reasons as to why efforts like this shouldn't just be solely put behind a paywall, especially when situations like yours can sour relationships and trust levels for all parties involved

I keep working precisely because a few people write to me personally and others support me because otherwise I would have given up, you have no idea but oh well I'll try to put it in context, yes you mean what I'm working on is not finished yet, it's not like hey look the game is already fixed suddenly, no mostly there are a lot of errors that the game itself has and that I'm fixing little by little other people won't even notice those other errors because they test superficially when they report them, even for FF8 I still need to adapt the last correction of the intro that I made for the other European versions, that's how hard it is this way I go at my pace and what I can and how I want and whenever I can, sometimes I make other discoveries and then I go for another game and if not months later I return to the previous one and so on, This isn't like, hey, I'm going to compile something quickly, it's more like, okay, wtf with this piece of machine code, I don't understand anything...

That's fine. We get that there's challenges to software development and bugfixes, especially ones involving emulation and adding things to closed source material - that isn't the problem.

For my part, I always comply with those who support me and I even give technical support, I help them until they have no doubts, even those who are just looking for help as long as it does not look like a newly created email or Facebook and of course, do their part in the conversation, since sometimes they are super dry and expect me to do everything in the conversation, but that is something personal of mine, this post is more to leave my job from the end of 2023 to 2024 so that they can read it and find people who speak English, since before I was only in a Spanish forum and English is the universal language, the truth is when I originally created the publication I thought I could put it only as reading but I did not realize it late, but there is no problem everywhere people give opinions, if you are interested in helping me or me helping you, write to me at my email mentioning your Nickname either by email or by facebook, that is what most do and what I ask them to do, like this Japanese guy who asked me for help today:

Notes about Ace Combat 3 fix:
- Graphics are working well, but at missions Bug Hunt and Electrosphere, the motion blur/afterimage effect in both causes the screen to become white, pausing seems to end it for just a few seconds, but then the screen goes back to white
