I am gonna really crazy with this fucking PS2 modchip. I didnt tried 1.8 but i am gonna crazy with this fucking PS2 modchip. Firstly IT CANT LOAD ANY BURNED GAMES, how i can know there's a chip on PS2 becuase there is no PS2 logo on boot up of a original game i had. I AM GONNA CRAZY WITH THIS PS2 MODCHIP I CANT EVEN DISABLE IT I TRIED FMCB 1.93, 1.966, 1.965. It doesnt work, THE SAME ISSUE >:(

First generation modchips booting only CD-R discs. All the rest booting everything, but second gen needs some voodoo to run PSX games and DVD-Video.

How do You know You cannot boot any burned games?

Probably FMCB 1.8b or PS2BBL will work.

BTW: Open console, desolder chip, assemble it back. ;)

1. I dont know whats the chip model.

2. I have burned discs that works on PCSX2

3. FMCB 1.8b doesnt work

4. I dont have desoldering machine.
 
Ad2. It is not so easy. Burning discs are complicated materia, that's why I asked. ;]
Ad3. What exactly do You mean by it doesn't work. What is the issue?
Ad4. You don't need any machine. Just ordinary soldering iron for electronics (I don't know how it is named in English, in Polish we calling them: lutownica kolbowa).

RSOD is the issue. FMCB 1.8b stucks at splash

As you've been suggested, best thing would be to get rid of it. Or as a workaround, simply don't go to the OSDSYS, you don't need it.

I finally disassebled the console. I removed the fucking modchip. The model was mars a12 (crappy clone of DMS4).
