PS2 I connected google drive to OPL - And it actually worked! (Infinite Storage Space)

1. Get OPLServer_withCmdLine_v2

2. Get rclone https://rclone.org/
3. Connect your PS2 via the Ethernet port to your router/switch or directly to the pc
4. Configure rclone to mount your google (business/g-suite) drive to a drive letter (e.g X:\ )

5. Make a symlink with mklink of your "PS2" Folder inside of OPLServer_withCmdLine_v2 which points to your chosen drive letter (e.g. X:\) where all your games are stored (in OPL compatible folder structure)

6. Start up OPLServer on your windows machine (you could ofc also use a raspberry pi - rclone is linux compatible: https://rclone.org/downloads/ )
7. Configure your ps2 OPL Config to connect to the SAMBA Share of windows OPLServer (or raspberry)
8. Start a game of your choice from ETH Games Tab in OPL
9. You now stream the game directly from the cloud to your ps2! no local copy of the game!

Additional Info:

• Google Drive Business /G-Suite provides you infinite storage space (paid service)
• you do need a very good download speed in order to stream the games directly to the ps2
• some additional config has to be done to the rclone config in order to make the game image files seekable and to improve read speed for OPL
• i left you the "how to rclone config" part bc its a very long read but if this intrests you maybe DM me or i could write a follow up post to this
• this does work with other storage providers which are supported by rclone (which are alot:
  https://rclone.org/overview/ )

You don't need injecting referer for ps2-home, while direct link to github repository is: https://github.com/elmariolo/OPL-Server Especially that PS2-Home blocking people access to their site which wanted keep privacy.

Besides that it is nice guide. Yet IMO better are "limited space" because it is "offline space" which user control, instead of some corporation.
