PS3 I downloaded an xmb mod to change my notification colour and now they are messed up

So I downloaded this xmb mod that changes various things such as the progress bar colour (which I downloaded it for mainly), the status bar colour, and most importantly the colour of the notifications. Everything else works fine, but the notifications are messed up and now they are sort of fragmented and massive. I replaced 3 files in dev/blind (xmb_ingame.rco, system_plugin.rco, xmb_plugin_normal.rco) and I was wondering if it would be possible to download a back up of these files and replace them, and if so does anybody know where to find a backup of these files. I searched it up and the solution seems to be reinstalling the cfw, but I would like to avoid that if possible. If anyone can help let me know!

First thing you MUST ALWAYS DO is to make a backup of your files before modifying them, in case something like this may happen.

I suspect that you've installed a mod that's not prepared for FW 4.89+.

To fix your issue, just reinstall the CFW (it's the easiest solution). If you still don't want to do that, then you'll have to extract the RCO files from the update PUP.

Thanks, I'll just have to bite the bullet and reinstall my cfw. Do you happen to know a working mod to change the progress bar colour? I'm not ready to back down yet LOL.

Colors could be an image or the rco XML. You could try modifying current ones with rco mage gui. I forgot the exact location of the colors in the XML, but they're typically to change white text or white images. I'd imagine the notification one is in system_plugin.rco. be careful with that one as it can soft brick if you make a mistake.

Yeah, I'm not that bothered about it, I dont really have the means to create a mod myself, and I'd be out of my depth. I dont know if you could tell but I'm new to the scene, well me forgetting to back my files up shows that lol. But thanks anyway!
