Hi! I made this account in order to ask a question about trying to mod my PS3.
My PS3 was stock since i got it and i didn't mod it right away because i was too busy with other stuff, but i got recently a copy of MGS4 and since i am in a binge phase with MGS, i thought it would be a perfect time to mod my PS3 to unlock more functionality out of it..... The only problem is that i kiiiinda forgot to unselect the automatic update setting and not the software i have is 4.93. I thought i can still mod it since i knew the procedure is the same for all versions, but when i tried to run the ps3toolset on my PS3, it did not work. Then i find out that it only supports up to 4.92.
So my question is this: Can i mod my PS3 in other way that skips the whole ps3toolset step or do i have to wait until the toolset gets updated? I tried to check out it's progress but i see that since the update came there was no hint of when it is gonna come out, and i really want to do it now because i don't want to forget about it later and let my PS3 to gather dust (at least for a while).
Any suggestions?
