PS3 Identyfying game version from save file

Is it possible?

The game in question is Burnout Paradise. I was playing it many years ago and noticed I have save game from it on PS plus.
I wanted to continue playing it so I've downloaded the save but neither The Ultimate Box (BLES-00455) or the original (BLUS-30061) pick up the save. I don't really remember what kind of game I had as the save date is over 10 years ago...

It's been years that i actually did things on my ps3 but if i'm not mistaken i think you can try this, rename the NPEB00043 savedata folder to one of the disc version you mentioned and copy it back to PS3. check if it's working. If i remember correctly it worked for me in some games and also i used to do that in PSP era.

Otherwise try Apollo save tool.

I don't know if the ps3 is like this, but the ps4 is. on the ps4, it also depends on the app version. I only encountered one of my 13 games (the ones I had at the time) doing this, but one of the trials games, think it was trials horizon - the save wouldn't work unless I had the right app version installed. a dev friend of mine figured that out when I couldn't get the save to work with save mounter. updating the game worked though.
