PS3 IDPSet v0.83 - A small update by Zar

The latest version of IDPSet has been released with developer Zar pushing v0.83, after tracking a Random Freeze issue that Tactik-knife and others where experiencing. So if you were victim of some Random Freezes when using this PS3 utility, be sure to checkout this latest version as those issues should be a thing of the past. [break] ..[/break]

About this Utility:

• With this utility you can make CEX and DEX dumps while also having the functionality to permantly changing your PlayStation 3 Console's IDPS on both NAND and NOR ps3 condoles. You just need to run the application on your PS3 with your eid_root_key and valid idps.bin on the root of your USB device

4.70 CFW not Supported

never seen like this tool all this years no one was able to make CID stick like the original . i think you are special you amazed me bro.

but if you can release an update to make 4.70 CFW supported would be huge help of you.

I wrote a guide to do this manually a long time ago and works for any CFW.

 

It don't really need to know the fw to change the IDPS in the eeid, so in the next update i'll remove the firmware check to do it. And thanks to joonie i'll add the root key dumper for 4.70 too.

But be patient...
