PS3 Install pkg

How do I get install package files in my ps3 system I've tried many times can you help me?!

Need to download from web and put on fat32 usb, plug right slot.

I think you dont have cfw. If you have HAN
You cant install only fron sony applications

You can not intall this application @Joonie, i learned right? On HFW you cant install pkg, only from $ony. You can now if your console is right for this, go on CFW (custom firmware)
Check your ps model, or send me your date code, modell, and cech number i check for you. Check also that is possible from mivercheck... the file you can find in the HFW thread to check the minimum update version must be 3.55 or lower(?)

On cfw -> rebug 4.84 you can install anything when you are on cex or *dex(!!) be careful its very tricky dex..

CFW allows you to install/run packages like multiman and other homebrew
HAN, HFW, OFW, DB-OFW does not.
There's a big section on hacking the ps3, if you scroll to the bottom...that will tell you more.

You can't use them on HFW 4.84.2 even if you manage to install them. They are not designed to work on HFW or OFW since they require extra access from the system kernel known as LV2.

You can install official PKGs signed by $ONY, or you can also install custom packed/signed pkgs for HAN

DEX is very tricky and useless if you don't use the features that it provides.

Unless you're using ProDG or TMAPI, it absolutely provides no value to average users. The only benefit I can think of is that you can prevent accidental OFW update since CEX OFW won't be installed over DEX OFW or CFW, and probably you won't even need any version spoofer to go online whenever new OFW drops.

thank you so much,.but can you access me the best CFW that supports my HFW of 4.84.2 because i have tried the RUBUG 4.84.2 and it cant install still says error ,data corrupted so can you help me please?

Mine its CECH-2504B so can you check for me., and i have install the rebug 4.84.2 But it cant install while ive got the HFW of 4.84.2 can you Please help me

You need to check date code, only til 1A and lower. Check with minver that you can downgrade must be 3.55 or less.

don't depend on date code just use MinVer Check its a 5mb UPDATE it will show error and say that your ps3 can go back to X.XX and that version is what ps3 comes with from factory

Its actually 3.56 or less , to be exact.
