Installing vs ENABLING CCAPI on HEN

As I understand, you should NOT install CCAPI while using HEN. However, in the Webman setup, it offers the option to ENABLE CCAPI. In many YouTube videos showing how to mod certain games, I often see them check the box to enable CCAPI.
If it's not safe to install CCAPI, is it okay to enable it? What else should I know?
 
It is not safe to install CCAPI on HEN, you will get a brick if you do that.

Don't bother with the option in WebMAN MOD, as I suppose that it can not distinguish if the console is on CFW or HEN (@aldostools, can you confirm this?).

"CCAPI" option in webMAN MOD Setup is used to keep the old CCAPI syscalls enabled when the CFW syscalls are disabled using R2+TRIANGLE. These old syscalls are: 200, 201, 202, 203, 204 according to psdevwiki.

However, according to this article in psdevwiki, CCAPI seems that not longer use these syscalls.

In any case, CCAPI will brick your console if it is installed on HEN.

webMAN MOD knows when HEN is used. It's simply that I haven't put attention to that option in the recent years. Anyway it's obsolete and eventually should be removed.

Is there any way to use RTM tools without CCAPI on HEN that you know of? What I'm hoping to do is to use mods to unlock everything in this one game so I can move on to other games and I guess other things in life. I know there's RTM tools for CFW, but I can't find anything for HEN. What do you suggest I do?

Unfortunately, no. PS3MAPI is horribly slow (no "Real Time" in RTM).

The best thing to do here is to get a CFW capable console, install DEX CFW and use TMAPI (which is the fastest and most reliable).
