PS3 IRISMAN v3.48 (Unofficial) by Alexander

Recently developer Alexander made an unofficial update to IRISMAN, with the release of version 3.48 that gives the multipurpose homebrew full 4.75 DEX support, which includes the Fan Control and also MAMBA. I do not want to upset the work of aldo. For now the Unofficial version, will be updated only with the support for the next CFW.

The original idea of Estwald making Iris Manager an open source project is to let others learn from it and improve it... The purpose is still the same with IRISMAN...

I would love to see other devs *improving* the project (e.g. like NzV did with Prx Mamba loader). Support for new CFW is always nice, but there are other areas that could be improved too.

I couldn't find a thread for bug reporting so am posting here. Let me know if there is a dedicated thread.


There is an annoying bug in the file manager (which isn't present in the gamesonic fork).
It was there before your release btw & you may already know about it.

I don't think it will be too difficult to fix.

If you try deleting a non empty folder, you get an error. .

Error Message is:

Delete error: 0x80010036
Directory not empty

I'll try to solve it as soon as possible . How custom firwmare you have this problem ? 4.75 or 4.76 ?

 

The problem is the same on all the cfw I have used recently.
From 4.66 up to 4.75, the problem is the same on Cobra/Standard CEX/Rebug Rex.
I have not tried on older firmwares yet but I could use my test console to reinstall 4.21/4.46/4.55 & test the problem if you really need the info.
Just let me know.

Also noticed another tiny bug, in the Tools menu, Irisman displays 4.75 CEX when on Rebug 4.75.3 DEX.

Btw I don't want to be a pain so let me know if u'd prefer I stopped posting along the bugs/problems I encounter. It's just that I use Irisman a lot. ☺

Otherwise I'd be happy to share my thoughts with you & also if u need someone to do some testing for you, let me know.
