Hi everyone I have ps4 pro which has 9.60 firmware. I want to jailbreak that console but I think it's quite impossible because I know the latest jailbreak support is 9.00. So is there any way to downgrade 9.60 to 9.00 and then jailbreak?

Thanks for reply

Only if you have a backup of your system at a jailbreakable firmware,solder skills and third party hardware device to dump your system. :sfun teleport:

jeez... so I can't downgrade like on PS3 ( UPDATE file + USB Drive ) :angel: RIP PS4 Pro :((

On none of the consoles You can do that. In case of PS3, You need first hack it and it must be CFW. Set QA flag, turn on debug updates in QA/DEX XMB and only then You are free to install any version of firmware. Do not believe in tutorials made by some trolls or just idiots on YT etc. (BTW: there are very few professional YouTubers which You can blindly trust, so I'm not saying all are crap of course). This is how this works and there is no workaround it, never be in future, because this is how Sony design it.

In case of PS4, currently only way to downgrade is hack the console. When You make memory image, You can update firmware but to restore it, You need again hack it or flash this specific image which created via hardware. It is hard to call that downgrade anyway.

Think about it, if downgrade can be such easy, why anyone would developing and publishing exploits for newer firmwares? And why console producers would allowing it in the first place as this is potential loose on games licenses (piracy) and online services (which demands newest fw)?

Thanks for the answer. I have CUH 7116B model and it's extremely loud. (Sony Airlines Present) I can control the fan speed of PS3 after jailbreak but I don't have this option on PS4 Pro. Yesterday I played Horizon (4K) I can hear the fan noise from all the other rooms. Then I changed the resolution on the setting. If I can't play games in 4k resolution why did I buy a pro? This is totally disappointment.

Here, you can set the temperature in payloads. U can set it to 75-76. In mine fat, it's 70 but I think pro can handle 75-76.

There is a south bridge cfw which lets you control temperature thresholds and fan speeds however to my knowledge it's only for fat ps4 models. https://www.psx-place.com/threads/p...-cuh-1000-cuh-1100-tutorial-by-zecoxao.36389/
@Sam2627

unfortunately, I have the latest firmware and I can't jailbreak. Probably I'll sell the console and buy Xbox one or ps4 slim model. I had all PlayStation models but never had fan noise like that. totally disappointment. I don't know where is payloads screen, Sam. I think you meant payload screen on jailbreak console. Mine can't jailbreaked.

@kity92 bro, ur thermal paste need to be changed and use a good one. I think MX4 or Arctic silver should be the one. One of my friend changed it to a good one and there isn't any noise afterwards even playing at 4k

I think cheaper would be just buying headphones... :P

You will not escape from loud until You choose 'pastgen' called Nintendo Switch. ;} I have Slim and Fat and TBH, Slim is a lot hotter and in high demanded games like i.e TLoU2 or HZD it quickly level up to highest possible fan, a lot louder than ancient Fat. It is like vacuum cleaner or Xbox 360 (at least Xenon) or 'chopa' with Arnold inside just escaped from Predator.
