PS3 Is it possible to port need for speed most wanted 2005 to ps3?

Because of the ps3 being 1 year late, the need for speed most wanted was never released for him, however The nfs carbon was released and both have the same engine, if someone could get the source code of the x360 version (the most beautiful of all versions) it would be possible a port, like gears of wars 3?

Last I heard, that GOW3 "port" / "prototype" or whatever it's called nowadays was only able to run decently on a PS3 with 512MB of RAM which is double the capacity of a standard retail console (At least from what I read that port was tested mostly on DECR models)

Can't you just play the Playstation 2 version with jailbreak / backwards compatibility on your PS3?

Speaking of which, EA did develop NFS Most Wanted 2005 for PS3, but partially because the port was intended as a tech demo prior PS3 console debut during that time.

What you only get is 2012 remake of Most Wanted title and it feels awkward because this game doesn't have garages and cars are scattered everywhere in the map so you have to search it.

Considering there's no available source code for Most Wanted 2005 - this would require you to reverse engineer whole game.

Just because something runs the same engine doesn't mean that you can just copy over the files and it'll work.

I'm already playing on ps2 netemu, but the 360 version is superior

The 360 version looks better on screenshots, but it plays like crap.
The framerate is all over the place with constant screen tearing and frame pacing issues that make it a pain to play.
