Is Sony's Formula 1 '06 PAL only compatible using SMB?

I'm trying to load it from both HDD and USB but it's giving me a white screen freeze. The disc is in pristine condition, the iso created from it is good as I tested on PS3.

Tried mode 1 + 6

All the other games in the series 2001 - 2005 load fine from the hdd.

White screen, maybe something has gone wrong in the installation process. To be sure, extract the game from the HDD to the PC and check the MD5 with redump.org • Discs

That doesn't prove anything... Which utility have you used to dump the disc? Is it a CD, or DVD?
