Is there a risk playing purchased games online ?

Hi, I just recently installed the new exploit on my ps3 slim 25xxx fw 4.84 and im only interested in playing offline games with this method but also i have some disk games that i still playing online with my friends. So my doubt is if theres any risk on gettin banned by playing original games after install this new exploit 4.84, btw i made a new profile and account to resign and play the HAN games.

thank to the developers and this forum for making Ps3 great again
 
the risk is still there, but to reduce the risk, install the psn patch plugin. if enabled, it won't let you sign u disable it. t will erase game history/syscalls like you're on ofw. however, there's always a risk. my ps3 got banned about a year ago, so I just bought a new one and have kept it offline.

Isn't this about HAN? Because PSNPatch plugin can't be installed on OFW.

EDIT: Or can it be installed on OFW? (Now I read you wrote "like you're on OFW", I thought you had not read the HAN part)
 
oh, I must've missed that. you might be safer with han than cfw. I don't know, but there doesn't appear to be a verification system with the ps3
