Is there a way to install a disc based game without an update using hen?

I haven't used HEN since update 3.0.1 and now I wonder if anything has changed.

Maybe something new in update 3.1.1

I really want to backup skate (1 the first game) and have it work without the disc on my ps3.

If your target is play the game without insert the disc into ps3 then just copy the game to ps3 hdd with multiman app.
