PS3 ISO Games Vs JB games

PS3 ISO games read faster and have a better compatibility than JB games (less black screens).

PS3 ISO may also have better fps and less audio delays (due the faster read).

PS3 ISO can be played from almost any device type (FAT32, NTFS, exFAT, internal HDD). On FAT32 you need to split the ISO.

ISO format let you play games with files larger than 4GB directly, while JB games need to cache the split files .666** to the internal HDD.

If your JB game already plays fine there is no need to invest time converting it PS3 ISO.

I agree with all of that :flustered: + I've noticed Texture Loading in some games to be a lot better in PS3 ISO format. eg. ID Software's RAGE game ... textures load a lot quicker than JB Folder format.

I've been slowing converting my JB Games to ISO's because i've definitely noticed a difference in load times and performance.

I will say though, i have come across a couple that don't like being converted to ISO .. eg. Battlefield 3 plays fine from External FAT32 in JB Folder format, converted it to ISO and now it freezes on the loading screen. Also, Battlefield Bad Company ISO freezes after the tutorial, but the JB Folder plays fine. Strange :apologetic: ... that's the only 2 games i have issues with (PS. They were ripped from the Physical Discs that i own .. not downloaded from the internet.)
