PS3 Issues with connecting a PS3 Slim to the TV

Hello all I recently bought a used PS3 Slim model with some games and 2 controllers, after receiving it I checked right away that it did work correctly and it did read the games correctly and everything worked alright + the Slim model is a lot quieter than the original model that I have. After setting it up and testing a couple of games I turned it off normally and after that I started having some issues.

Next time I started it and it didnt show anything on screen and the controller also did not connect to the PS3 so I searched a bit and found that I could hold the power button to get into recovery and set it up again as I did. After that it all worked nicely for like 3 times starting it up but after that it started again not showing anything on the TV. I updated it once when it worked and also did a factory reset.

I cannot really find the issue as it sometimes turns on but most of the time it doesn't. Anyone else had an issue like that or maybe fixed a Slim model with this issue ? Any leads will be much appreciated thank you.

Hello again, since last posting the issue I did a couple more things, like trying different HDMI but it gave some issues. Also opened up and cleaned the console but it wasnt that dusty inside, a lot less compared to the fat model haha.

And lastly I had the idea maybe it was the HDMI on the board that had issues so I used the cable for VGA from my PS2, so I turned it on and everything worked ok on the older TV but at a low resolution and after that I set it up all again in the settings and all good. I worked well for the next 3 times that I turned it on but after that I started having issues again of not having any video output and nothing working again. So I was wondering maybe something else is broken or if that is why sometimes it works like nothing is wrong and then failing to initialize ?

I will try some more tests but if anyone has more experience with that I will be glad to hear of any other ideas.
