PS3 Jonnysp's ird library is down.

Not sure how long it's been down, nor do I know if it'll stay this way; I just noticed today. There is a backup of all ird files from the site here: https://archive.org/details/playstation-3-ird-library (can't vouch for its validity since I didn't create it).

You can look for a specific ird in the archive.org backup w/o downloading the entire database:
Press Show All, view the contents of the ird zip file, and look for your game's id.

that's a shame. I already have all my iso games checked, which is maybe 10-13 games. I have around 40 pkg games as well.

Yeah I noticed it out of nowhere when I was checking it out of my bookmarks.
Have all my 105 Games verified from it and midnightchannel repair archives.
In wise foresight I did a backup for my games, including all .ird files etc.

Maybe someone can copy that site, from the archive.org stuff?
Seems to be an xml and the sqlite database inside.

well, I have the ird database and all patches that I know of. I can't recall if the patches were that one command line that I mentioned or pacman syu in command prompt, but I got wget in command line instead of linux. anyway, I have all that, but I only have about 40 or 50 games total, and I have backups of their patches. I renamed most of them through the PARAM.SFO, considering some were out of order with the alphabetizing of @Evilnat 's cfw.

I knew that this day would come and saved all 2758 ird files, last update of the site was on 01/17/2019

Is there a good download for a comprehensive IRD and patches database? Any possiblity you can upload your archive?

I built an online database based on @algua 's backup of Jonnysps ird library (2758 ird files, 01/17/2019)
https://ps3.aldostools.org/ird.html

I hope you find it helpful.
this is great, although can it be possible you can also include the PUP update version the games included since it is necessary for the IRD to verify for a clean iso build. much appreciate aldo. glad to see that you're still around this scene.

Thank you very much @aldostools

First: Is there a way for people to add any new IRD files they make to the list. Maybe have a section for the IRD files from jonnysp.bplaced.net and a section for community submissions. Also, you might want to add PS3 ISO Rebuilder & Redump2IRD to the page.

Second: For anyone who cares about IRD files, I just made a request for the tool MPF HERE. I don't know if or when it's going to be implemented (or even if it makes sense). If you have any useful information or additions, please don't hesitate to contribute here or there (especially about the D2 data).

Thank for the links. I have added them.

I could move the database to github, if there are enough submissions.

The problem with submissions is that it is possible to generate ird files from non-original ISOs, which is what probably tainted a handful of the irds that were in 3K3Y's original database, a problem which was inherited by jonnysp's database as can be seen here.

It might be best to handle ird submissions via ManaGunZ, as it tries to guarantee that an ird file will only be generated from retail discs. Then ManaGunZ's database could flow into Aldo's database for easy access outside ManaGunZ.

By the way @aldostools, the latest build of ird_tools now generates .json files from ird_files, which might be useful to display all ird information straight from the online database.

I have updated the last section of the request HERE. Maybe this could help in creating valid/secure IRD files (again, if it even makes any sense at all)

@jcorrea is working (maybe he finished ?

@jcorrea built a website to get access to ird from my database, I don't know if it's online. I didn't see it myself but it would be similar to johnny website + trust level + credits to uploader. It will be updated when ird are made by MGZ v1.41.

Maybe can you tell us if it's finished ?

I uploaded the exe of the current version of ird_tools v0.4. I forgot what I did, so, I just copy/pasted what I wrote on the commit in the changelog ;)

Nice. Could you verify the DISC_SIZE in the json?
Example: BLES00014 returns a disc size of 1,221,130,240 but the header reports 5,516,034,048.

I have updated the database on my website. It now includes the real name, version, update version, image size and file count. The signature column is not listed.

Also removed BCES01584-14DD139D2337E794C83E26DDEFC6D595.ird (The Last of Us) because it cannot be decompressed.

EDIT:
It would be nice if the json includes the folder count and files count.
Also the .log.txt could include the file size, folder count, files count and disc size.
