libaudio.sprx (How can I revert to original functionality)

Hi all, can anyone help me to get libaudio.sprx to the way it was pre-hen flash? The behavior I am after is to have game sound only on my TV and voice communications on the headset (I am after the higher quality game audio via tv and to be able to hear everyone better over my headset instead of having everything all mixed into the headset)

Reinstalling HFW will restore it and other flash files back to their original state.

If you have attempted to use a patched sprx remember you should always keep the originals. Its good practice to get into a habit of renaming the original file to filename.sprx.bak or something like that, then if your modded file causes any issues you can just go in with FTP or a file manager to revert the changes if it does not work out. That is of course if the changes dont soft brick you and require a HFW or CFW reinstall.

I think at some point the libaudio.sprx patches were integrated into the HEN payload. If that is the case then your only option would be to use an older version of HEN.

Go to accessories settings>audio acc>... set game audio to default and mic to the headset.. nice and simple.

Its easier if you have a headset that has a split channel setup with indepents game vol and mic volume setup like the Turtle Beach P11s which is what I use on PS3 and PC. Then you can just increase the mic vol above the game vol. or lower the game vol.

I hate headsets without independant game and mic vol control lol.
