Light Gun Question REQUEST : PS MOVE / PS MOTION on RETROPIE ?

is it possible to have a ps move / ps motion (With Ps EYE Camera) controller on retropie / raspberry pie ?

is there an easy set up for it ?

could someone who owns a ps move and camera write a step by step installation guide ?

Could The Ps move act as a light gun , like Aimtrak & Sinden Light guns if on retropie ?

hope someone is willing to express and answer the questions that are puzzling me , would love the ps move to work as a light gun on emulators

would've been a good question for bits. I know he's a fan of retropie. I own one, but I haven't set it up yet. got too busy with other stuff. I have the version 4.

yeah, we all miss him. off topic, but I read that they released or will release a raspberry pi 4b with twice as much ram. kinda bummer, but afaik, most people use them for retro gaming, which doesn't use anywhere near as much ram as the 4 or even 3 have.

im sorry he is longer on the forum here , i bet he was great .... its ok to show emotion , nothing wrong with that :D

really a 4 b that seems interesting ... hope it can run 3DO or saturn games .. harder to replicate emulation for those 2 classic bad boys

however i have no interest in the 4 at the moment ... i will wait for more devolment on it :) ... im having fun with this ps3 move ... i got it for my son but i cant seem to put it down lol
 
I read that they started making those retro cases for the 4 somewhat recently. I'd like one of those, but I might sell my 4 instead. I have too many things as it is.

retro cases , sounds pretty cool .. i gotta check those out

some of the people in that thread might know the answer to your question. they're as helpful as here. it's a site that mostly caters to nintendo, but a lot of people on there know tech pretty well especially when it comes to retro stuff. though, I could never get answers to questions about the nes/snes classic, but I figured those out hacking wise. I'm kind of an expert at them now along with the genesis classic. :D
 
btw, I got a retron 3 hd which uses the same cables as the nes/snes/genesis classic/mini. it's an easy swap. I have so much stuff that I have to unplug things. anyway, I had to buy controller extension cables, but I like using the original controllers and cartridges (if possible). I recently bought a cartridge of dkc 3 (one of my favorites) for about $25.
 
kinda curious how those controllers work. I watched a review of nes accessories by avgn, and he said that the light gun for the nes and snes would scatter all over the place when fired at a flatscreen. it made me burst out laughing. games being unplayable because of it. lmao.

thanks for the suggestion on that site .. i hope someone could help me ... alot of these forums always seem to ignore my posts , maby i ask weird questions ..but im going to try , hope to get help

its always good to use original hardware or original games if possible

and sweet how the retron uses the same cables.. score for you ;)

one of the funniest moments imo is when he reads off the instruction manual for rocky. it's just a bunch of nonsense that no one is going to understand.

lol...you remember him saying after reading it off, "so did you get all that?" "how could a game go from being so easy to so fucking hard?" I once read that rocky was next to impossible without a turbo controller. lol
