liquid cool ps3

There some mods in youtube not with Exos but with cheaper solutions and hard modifications in the console but really it is not worth all the modification for the results Only if you want to make such kind of stuff.

The best way to cool this is to remove the IHS from GPU and CPU and re-paste all chips and IHSs, install the quieter 19 blade fan if your console does not have it (just quieter-not better) and check if the coolers are flat and have good contact with the RSX and CELL.
After you do all that an external PSU is the next step, or if you like to mod the case to have vent holes where the fan sucks air.

You can't do something else. You will be already low on temps..at least low for a PS3.
If you like your Ps3 to be like 30s or 40s (Celsius) in load then yes you can watercool it, but directly on the cores not IHS no nothing.
A lot of work and a lot of modification-you need two waterblocks. Is there any proof that this will help the console to not die eventually???

The failproof way to have nice temperatures and low noise is by oversizing the heatsink and the fan
The parts are not hard to find, the tricky thing is to modify (or replace) the plastic shell of the PS3

I already did a delid, replaced token caps and had it reballed (I know reballing is controversial, I did it anyways). Looks like an external power supply should be my next venture.

its way too messy to do. and if you want to reach the same temperature that a watercooled launch model PS3 does, then get a ps3 super slim.

anyone managed to reach this quoted temperatures? for a 2006-ish silicon process. I really doubt it. maybe with liquid nitrogen, but meh thats impractical to use.

even with 7nm processor processor now a days, they can only as low as like what.... 40c when idling

Hi, it was a great job from NSC the only problem was the temperature from the power supply because there was no fan inside the case.
I have a other video link from the day when we billed the water cooling ps3
I hope my English is not too bad

If you interested for exactly this ps3 water block from this to videos
You can buy it, for the shipping cost and maybe 10€. It is in a perfect condition and it was many years in a box, long enough i thinking
How can i send pictures here?
That's my first time here on ps4-place

if you still have that waterblock I'll buy it right now name your price

Are you suggesting that a super slim PS3 runs with temperatures of a WATER COOLED launch PS3? Do you have any evidence to support this?

How can I send direct messages? Where are you from because of the shipping cost. Send me please a message

Thanks for the information. I'm in a other playstation group in German location and language and i and I searching Google and found this post about liquid ps3. I have many parts of ps3 and ps4 models and one ps3 water block for so many years. I need to find some person who like to build a water cooled ps3.

I might be interested in that, do you have pictures of the parts you have?
