PS3 HAN Low Framerate Issues on PS3 : Any Fix via HAN Possible ?

Help me by finding the possible fix.

But while I do that, verify if han enabler is actually the cause even

HAN is not the cause.

The Far Cry 3 version on PS3 runs at a sub par 20 FRAPS. I confirmed it. I just bought a second hand used disc (way too cheap) and played it from that. Its the game itself, not the HAN.

I also installed Red Dead Redemption on the hard disc, and it plays between 20 FRAPS to 25 FRAPS. Dips occur every now and then.

I have GTA IV on the download list. Will inform you about it.

another tip for some games on cfw should help with some games like to access internet during play
tip disable internet on ps3.

Yes I know online games but you should not access online anyway with this or ban is likely

We are playing using HAN. Disablibg internet is the first thing we did.

Even on CFW this helps installed PSN games to run smother with way less problems.

Okay, more good news. I just installed killzone and even it runs without frame rate drops. It seems are first party exclusive titles have really good performance while multiplatform third party titles suffer from frame rate drops.

used to play crysis 3 on my ps3 ss and i don't remember it having a bad fps (i used the psn version since it was free from ps plus). Try using a psn version instead of disc based version since they're are not really optimized to be played on hdd.

Okay. Found it. Crysis 3 is the culprit. AVG FRAPS is 22 FRAPS. It also dips to 18 FRAPS.

Okay. Far Cry 3 has indeed shit framerate. AVG. FRAPS 20, with dips of upto 10 FRAPS.

Okay, I just installed Far Cry 4. The framerate is much better, usually at 25 FRAPS. Good work ubisoft.

My advice to all PS3 gamers, buy Far Cry 4 instead. Tried and tested by me.

ps3 won't output 1080p on those games

on the display options if you only have 1080p ticked it will force 1080p and make the game lag. if you have alot of messages and cache it will also slow ur games down
im playing those games just fine above 30fps. i have a dell 24 gaming monitor maybe thats why it helps?idk

If you were able to read you would have seen he said your display settings can effect performance. Maybe your TV is just shit and looks shit, get a new bravia . Why cant you understand that things other than Sony being shit can effect how the game performs, like HDD, how good a rip of the textures you have, compression, display settings etc, its actually not rocket science, try play Crysis on a PC with 256MB of RAM and a 10 year old CPU and then see how it matches up lol.
