Major progress being made in Vitamin 1.2

This is an off topic (...) I'm wondering if SONY's about to announce a next gen portable device

PSV Trinity? Something like PS4 Neo, answer for NX? This would be such a shame that HENkaku was released before they launched. But anyway, I'm still happy from this hack. :D

This is an off topic, a lot of stores stopped selling PSVITA right before TGS 2016 about to happen..

Gamestop removed the category for VITA but then relocated it to "More" section where all the legacy products are listed
Bestbuy seems carrying only used / refurbished ones
Walmart doesn't have ones listed..

Usually this doesn't happen unless the product is out production, but this time seems weird. Has anyone noticed?
I'm wondering if SONY's about to announce a next gen portable device, and make a new bundle set with older gen PS4 + VITA for upcoming blackfriday and Christmas.

Lol Vita,s have vanished hear in Aus as well cant find them anymore anyware

Yea @Joonie, both have started to vanish here in pa and Md in the states. More so the pstv. I cN still find new unopened vitas and here and there a pstv for 99.00. But it is getting less and less. Game stop did move the vita games over to a back corner in the store. Wal-Mart and target have stopped carrying games completely and had a fire sale on what they had left months ago. Hope we see another handheld from Sony, with better first party and aaa support.

Hopefully it will be released soon already enjoying a couple of games although there is one or two which i would really like to try out

@Joonie
A bit off topic but it is a real shame about the ps vita it is a good portable console just with some bad decisions
like i went around town looking for a memory for the ps vita and nowhere had one.... even game only has 5 used ps vita games
not a single new one or even the console itself no memory cards, its shocking

memory cards is the main issue too expensive, a 64gb ÂŁ72 cost me more than a ps vita ÂŁ55....
----

btw henkaku r5 released which apparently fixes the corrupt save issue so pretty handy :)

I've not come across any here in the u.k either. I was in Australia last month visiting my mother & sisters. Henkaku was released while I was out there. I had my vita with me but I wanted to get another memory card. So I went to a number game shops around sydney city and there was nothing. Like the Vita doesn't even exist. It is strange.

that's what pisses me off about sony. they drop a product when it isn't an instant success. Nintendo, on the other hand, still supports the wii-u. that says a lot about both companies as a whole.

yeah it is a real shame because like if only sony did an updated version with a micro sd slot and hdmi or mini hdmi slot then it could have done a lot better the memory cards were far too expensive, i really like the ps vita as a device its cool but some big flaws and it had some fantastic games uncharted & gravity rush but the support dried up very quick

do agree something people have to give credit to Nintendo for they have provided some great games when they could have just ditched it a lot sooner

yeah, I love the gamepad coupled with the pro controller. Kirby is awesome with the gamepad. though, I think people didn't like the fact that u stare at the gamepad. it's very fun to play though. the gamepad may not work with every game, but it works well with that game. I love it!

edit: I might also add that the pro controller lasts about ten times longer than the ps4 dualshock controller. if there's one thing Nintendo can do correctly, it's hardware. the battery life is ridiculous.

I agree the wiiu has some great titles & I don't regret buying one. I've always been a big Nintendo fan. I own every console & handheld to date. I'm really looking forward to the new Zelda......when it gets released that is. With the IOSU exploit hopefully just around the corner. Things should be good. Hopefully Nintendont gets gamepad support. that would be awesome.

Yeah in aus i went around a few major game stores and nothing to be found
Hope we get more use out of these vitas thru the hombrew community because I doubt will get anything from Sony they pretty much killed it im surprised there still patching the exploits
