PS3 Making sense of PSN games and MultiMAN

Hi everyone,

Im fairly new to the PS3 Homebrew scene and i'm trying to make sense of PSN-games already installed on my HDD. Here's the situation.
I have previously soft modded other consoles and every-time i soft mod a console i like to take the "sleeper" approach in regards of UI customisation. I really like multiman in the sense that i can rip my PS3, PS2 and PS1 disc games and have everything stored within the multiman ecosystem. So ideally what i want is to be able to launch everything from one app. Just like you can with OPL on PS2 or USB Loader GX on Wii/WiiU

However, my PSN-games are (of course) visible in the XMB-menus. I have searched through the forum and i still can't find a clear answer for my niche case. I am fully aware that PSN-games are stored in the game folder on my HDD and my disc based games are store in GAMES/GAMEZ folder.
Is it possible to straight up copy the game folders from game to GAMES as they are in folder format, and make multiman recognise the games? Or is it possibly so that the PSN game folders under games are in fact not folder/JB-format and needs additional settings to be able to load from multiman?

I don't use multiman, but if you want to use the same ecosystem in the "same app", use WebmanMOD plugin.
You can load all your games straight from XMB without needing to enter a APP first.
All PS1, PS2 and PS3 ISOS will be located at the category Webman Games, load the game ISO from XMB.
And your PSN games will be located at your games catetory, load the PSN installed game from XMB as well.

What I don't like about Multiman, what I have seen (I haven't used only watched youtube and screenshots) is that it's like having an XMB inside another XMB. Multiman looks like a XMB so it can be a bit confusing to noobs.

WebmanMOD works from XMB, so it looks legit as if all PS1, PS2 and PS3 ISOS were part of the same official UI. Try it by yourself.

I'm definitely liking the feature of webman mod to boot up a game from a simple menu without loading anything. In irisman/mutiman first it loads the app, then sometimes for ps3 games for example, it will mount the game first, then kick you out of the app. So that's like 3 loading screens before the game starts.

multimam is a backup manager. games you installed from playstaion store are not backups. multiman ignores them.

webman mod is a backup manager also, but it has many extra features unrelated to backups. it will list and launch psn games if the correct settings are used.
