Hello guys,
I want to ask... I have PS2 with installed Matrix modchip. Is it possible, if I use freemcboot also on the PS2 with the matrix installed?

why do I want to do this? because I heard that freemcboot can read hardisk in exfat format, and I also want to try OPL 1.2.0 which can read exfat format too

Thank you

Something like "MCBoot" not exist.

Try Free MCBoot v1.8b. 1.9xx will not work, and for sure not 1.966 if this is original Matrix Infinity. Free MCBoot does not reading anything from disk. Free HD Boot understand only APA.

OPL will not read exFAT partition on GPT/MBR from internal HDD but RAW disc images from APA. For that You need OPL GD.

Matrix chip just helps to run .ELF file directly from boot folder of the MC. So you just need to replace the opl to the version you need. You don't exactly need FreeMcboot. You just need ulaunch.elf.
