PS3 Merging DLCs into One PKG?

Say I have a BIG Collection of Little Big Planet DLCs. Is there a way to pack them and the RAPs into a single installable PKG? Thinking of doing this for Archival and ease of Install at a later date or pack them into the games ISO as Extra Install Data

You can extract them all and merge them, yes. Generally speaking, you can merge all updates too by overwriting old pkg contents with each updated one and repack into new pkg.

I used to do that and use the PKGDIR to automatically install everything.

Not the raps though. They dont work like that, and that gets into a hairy area of possible piracy, but you probably get the gist of it.

Ideally you want the final PARAM.SFO to have the newest pkg details, or you can also lower required fw version.

Yea. Updates i can understand. Extract update 1,2,3 and overwrite the extracted contents of 1 with 2 and 2 with 3 yea? sucks Raps cant really be messed or do they need to be? can you unpack all the dlc and pack it back up youll just need the raps still? i have dlc on rpcs3 could i turn the instal (rpcs3\dev_hdd0\game\your dlc folder here) make it a pkg and it can be used to install all that was there? or is there anything im missing for this to work?

Yeah, thats the basic idea.

The raps are "needed" for any content that is licensed. But again, the normal way is when you get content from the PS store, it will create a RIF file using your idps. The rap file is not something you normally acquire installing content from store AFAIK.

I dont know how much more detail can be given because it is a bit of a gray area.

Online translators has been created and still are maintaining for a reasons. Like this one. The only thing you must do is CTRL+A, CTRL+C and CTRL+V.

Thanks anyway. ive already figured it out with a drag and drop solution . only issue is i cant edit the pkg title metadata. all i do is install it all with rpcs3 than pack it into a pkg

Hopefully Just repacking rpcs3s installs will work lol since it does all the sorting and install in order on its own meaning you can just pkg what gets put into rpcs3\dev_hdd0\game. unless rpcs3 does something to the files. although ive had no issues ftp'ing the installed updates and dlc to my ps3 than rebuilding database
been using this https://www.psx-place.com/resources/custom-pkg-maker.1285/ and just dragging and dropping and letting it spit out a pkg i can install
