I've been playing MGS3 HD on my PS3 Slim. I'm getting a performance issue where the curscenes are stuttering. But specifically it's only the cutscenes where video footage is used rather than realtime 3D rendering.
I noticed that when the stuttering happens the hard drive light goes solid so my guess is that it's having trouble reading the videos from the disk. Is this a sign that my HDD is failing? Does anyone else have this issue. The only post I could find was on gamefaqs but the replies were saying it's because it's the EU version of the game. Somehow I doubt that because nobody really looked into what's causing the issue they just speculated lol.
