Modchip Ps2 fat not detecting internal hdd

Hi, my modchipped ps2 fat is not detecting my hard drive in ulaunchelf and Opl 1.1

it looks like it tries to recognize it, the orange light blinks after a few seconds a couple of times but it doesnt detect it.

Its an IDE 250gb hdd.

The hdd and network adapter are fine becauset he hard disk is getting recognized with Hd loader 0.8c and also OPL 0.9.3 and i am able to play games.

What HDD Manager saying in uLE? Show us screen/photo from it.

uLe takes some time to load hdd drivers and then when i browse the hdd its empty and none of the R1 menu options is enabled

Hdd manager Isays Connected : No, Formatted :No.

Opl 1.1 gives me an error 221 after about 1.5 minutes, harddisk not detected.

It tells you the HDD Status:

2: hardware issue (possibly on HDD)
3: hardware issue on network adapter
-19: Terrible hardware issue
Any other value: no idea

I'm puzzled by the fact that the hdd is running perfect with opl 0.9.3 and hdloader 0.8c

It turned out to be status - 19.
But opl 0.9.3 is loading the games off of the hdd fine.

This is insane.

Maybe some HDD driver update between OPL 0.9.3 era and 2019 broke it

Yea i guess it is some kinda driver update issue.

I tested the hdd with two other adapters and they both worked.

The one not working with latest opl could be a clone, because i just noticed it doesn't have a RJ45 connector , just a yellow sticker there.

Btw your wLe mod is really awesome, I'm using it on all my my ps2s now. Great work.
