hi
am using a headset to my ps3 , it is connected through an rca to 3.5mm connector and i was wondering if there is a way to adjust the volume

the headset has a volume control buttons on it but they don't do anything when connected to the ps3.
i also tried multiple headphones each has a different volume (some seem to be set on high when connected to ps3, some on low and some on medium)

You can modify the sound settings of each game, so even if you can't change the volume from headsets, you can change the volume of the game.

yeah i know about that but not all games have it and it doesn't fix low volume
just wondering if there is a way in the ps3 software it self before i see if i can find the audio modifing thing that hooks to the adapter

Probably you will need an amplifier. I recently bought a PAM8403 board, it needs a 5v psu and works very well
