Motorstorm Pacific Rift black screen on CFW

First of all I have an original game - EU platinum version and it works off the disc. But when I want to run it from hdd after starting all I get is black screen. I can press ps button and try to close it but after several seconds it soft-resets my PS3. I've tried to make (again several times) an ISO out of it and the game starts but freezes in the main menu (driver choosing). I can quickly click someting to try to enter the race but then it freezes in race loading. :(
I've even downloaded that game from the internet to check if it might be the issues with the disc (?) but same thing and I don't know what to do next.

I'm on Evilnat 4.88.2.. Any help is appreciated

also I have another small question. I cannot rip the game with multiman, when i click on a disc and select copy it says: "The operation is not allowed". I had to make a folder and copy disc contents with file manager

Hmm, i've just installed irisman and it can't see the disc, it was similar in multiman, i had to start the app several times and it worked just once, i have no clue what's going on, because when i'm in xmb the disc always shows there and i can start the game without problems.

IRISMAN requires to change "Cobra / Disc-less payload" to "With BDVD Controller" in START menu > Tools.
Once you select the option, the system will restart and the next time that you launch IRISMAN you will have access to the disc inserted.
 
Thanks for that info, I've managed to make a folder through copy option in irisman, the game started (as opposed to not starting at all earlier - using file manager in mmcm) but froze like 10 seconds into the race. I could hear the music playing but the video was frozen and i had to reset my ps3. I'm creating an ISO now to check if there is any difference.

And again, same with ISO, it freezes several seconds into opening cutscene...

EDIT: Now that I've checked the game also freezes if played from the original disc but a bit later, my bad i haven't checked earlier.

I don't know what could be the issue, all my other games (over 20 titles) work fine. It's just this one game. Could it be a hdd problem? I've bought brand new 1TB sshd in january, and never had any freezing problems etc

I've checked the hdd today and found no errors/bad sectors. I don't have the slightest idea what could be the issue. this one game freezes when played from disc, folder backup or iso. I've even downloaded backup of american version and still the same ;_;
 
Sorry for bumping thread but maybe someone has any idea what could be the issue? I took apart my ps3 today, cleaned it and replaced thermal paste thinking it may help but it did not. The game freezes as soon as i start the race sometimes even earlier, no matter if it's from the original disc or HDD, eu or american version :/ The disk is 100% okay
