PS3 Move ISO from USB to PS3 HDD via PC

Hi,
my first post here. (-:

I've some PS3 ISOs on my NTFS USB drive, and I want to put them on PS3 internal HDD (I'm on latest CFW).
I know I can use Irisman, but it's kinda slow.

Can I unplug the PS3 drive, link it to PC, and do some kind of drag'n drop?

Thanks!

Unfortunately the only tool is read-only so you can not write to the drive only view/backup the drives data. Unfortunately you must have it in your PS3. Speeds aren't great but honestly is not bad if you ask me. IRISMAN/Managunz or other obscure forks have the best NTFS support. MultiMAN is terrible with NTFS, convoluted implementation with low compatibility.

I just keep my PS3 games on a NAS as it is quick and easier to use with other systems I share this with.

Alternatively FTP into the PS3 using irisman and upload the file this way. This method is quite fast, but works well only for big files, lots of small files do throw errors. For ISOs it's a reliable method.

Also, this is my 69th post. Nice.

The alternatives are:
1- Use a file manager like IRISMAN, ManaGunz or Simple File Manager to copy from ntfs to /dev_hdd0
2- Use webMAN MOD full edition to copy the ntfs files in background while you do other things
3- Use FTP server to transfer the file from PC to PS3. PS3 has many ftp servers available to choose.
4- Use ps3netsrv to mount the folder containing the ISOs as a data disc then copy the files from /dev_bdvd.
5- Mount the ISO as /dev_bdvd, then dump the game using IRISMAN, multiMAN or ManaGunZ.
6- Use the games directly from NTFS. Use prepISO to scan the content and mount it with webMAN MOD.
7- Use the games directly from PC. Mount them through ps3netsrv.

Thanks a lot to you all for the answers! I'll stick to IRISMAN for now, but in the end I'll try so set up all my retro-stuff on a NAS.

1. Self explanatory and easy for new/begginers
2. Especially interested to find out how to do this.
3. Yes and Filezilla tends to be the best/easy choice
4. Interested to learn this - but unlikely to use it :/
5. Apologies how do you mount the iso as /dev_bdvd?
6. Yes from NTFS and PrepISO i know how to use etc
7. Again interested to learn but unlikely to use it :/
