When I play a DVD movie in my PS2 it shows as a green tint. I tried using both display options but they both had the green tint. I use the Pound PS2 to HDMI Converter to display my PS2. I hope that I can fix it without having to buy a whole new display cable.
Shouldn't pound cables use component signal? Try switching in ps2 settings from RGB to YPbPr (Component Video Out). Could be risky, since it could result in black screen, if pound cable is made with RGB scart signal.
