The SHOWTIME message can be removed updating to the latest build of SHOWTIME (aka MOVIAN).

The notifcation about the new mmCM version cannot be removed because the online version reported is 04.85.XX

Even if you update to the latest build 04.85.01, it will never be higher or equal to 04.85.XX

i recently updated movian with the latest..still there

thanks for ya reply man

There are 2 movian versions: The standalone MOVIAN.SELF and multiman's SHOWTIME.SELF

The first can be launched from XMB. The other is launched from mmCM. There is a VER file in BLES80608/USRDIR (don't remember the exact name) that contains the SHOWTIME version which is compared with the version reported online.
