PS3 Multiman cannot see ISOs.

Hello all,
I'm new to this scene (less than a week).

I'm running a PS3 slim with Evilnat 4.88.2 Cobra (8.3), Multiman 4.85 and latest Webman Mod.

If I import a JB folder game, I can see it under games no issues. But if I import an ISO file, Webman Mod sees it but Multiman does not. I checked and the file path seems to be right (/dev_hdd0/PS3ISO). I use the internal HDD (FAT32) and need to convert the the ISO to a JB folder but it won't read the ISO file under Multiman.

I'm probably missing something obvious but I haven't been able to figure it out in the last few days. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jagg.

multiMAN has 2 modes:
1-multiMAN - it only can mount game folders.
2-mmCM - it can play ISOs and game folders. It's the default mode when you have Cobra enabled.

Check that multiMAN shows mmCM in Settings > System Information.

Also check that Cobra is enabled if you're using CFW.

The ISOs must be stored in /PS3ISO (all letters in uppercase).

If your games are stored in an exFAT USB disk, multiMAN will not recognize them.

I will check to make sure mmCM shows in the settings.
Cobra is enabled.
The ISOs are in thr correct folder and it is all in uppercase.
The ISOs are stored on the internal hdd so definately FAT32.

I will.try a flash drive tomorrow to see if it makes a difference.

Thanks,
Jagg.

IThe ISOs are stored on the internal hdd so definately FAT32.

Internal HDD, to be precise user partition (dev_hdd0), using UFS2... FAT32 is used only for dev_hdd1, FAT16 for dev_flash\2\3 and few partitions are RAW (no any filesystem). Custom partition table; all encrypted per console keys.

On external HDD, multiMAN will not see anything than FAT32 on MBR (i.e FAT32 on GPT is not supported).

Yes, that applies to multiMAN mode. Not to mmCM mode.

On recent versions of mmCM, when the application starts, it executes the module prepNTFS.self to scan NTFS drives in the same way webMAN scans for content on NTFS.

In the following post I attached a replacement for prepNTFS.self that adds support for exFAT and other features.
