I had wondered at first when trying to play The Hobbit why I had issues with audio going out randomly, when I checked the PS2 emulation compatibility list and it said it worked fine.
Fast forward some days later I installed ManaGuns on my PS3 and just for the heck of it let it check the MD5 of several games including The Hobbit and it every official Retail PS2 game I let it MD5 showed that the games did not match the redump.
Then I deleted the games and used the MG file manager to copy the games manually to the HDD and then MD5 the games and they matched. I have a problem here because I also wanted to play Resident Evil 4, but it's over 4 GB's and I don't have any free space on one of my USB drives that is NTFS, and when it copied over from my FAT32 drive I use just for my PS3, RE4 after being split it also says it was corrupt.
Also one question: Might it ever be possible to run PS2 games from a USB storage device instead of just HDD?
