Multiman Nes Snes & Genesis emulators

I just saw that Multiman has a spot for emulating Nes, Snes, and Genesis games. I have two questions about this. Do i have to download the emulators separately and is there a specific directory that I have to store the roms in?

There is a file options.ini inside /dev_hdd0/game/BLES80608/USRDIR

Download it to your PC, edit it with a text editor to specify the path of your ROMS and emulators.
Then upload the modified file and restart multiMAN ;)

Thanks. I've been looking around for emulators and have not been able to find any

Thanks. I've been looking around for emulators but I can only find a few that are specifically for fw 4.81. Is it ok to use an older one?

RetroArch is firmware version independent.. It also includes almost all the emulators available for PS3 (except DOSbox, ScummVM, and a few others).

Additionally backup managers like multiMAN, IRISMAN and webMAN MOD can be used as frontend for RetroArch.

Thanks. I got RetroArch working but I'm not sure how to direct multiMan to the emulator's location because I cant seem to find it. Can you give me an idea of where to look? I know it's somewhere on hdd0 but i've looked in every folder and don't see anything

OK. Thanks.

OK thanks. I'll just use it separately then.

IRISMAN and webMAN MOD can be used as frontends of RetroArch.

multiMAN used to be integrated too; I'm not sure if the recent versions have issues. IIRC in options.ini you can define the path of the roms and of each emulator self.

Thanks for everyone's help. I can't seem to find an answer on RetroArch's homepage, but does anyone know which version of mame it supports?
