Hey guys, Apologies in advance if this has been covered somewhere else but I have looked and cannot find anything about it anywhere. So my problem lies with trying to rip ps2 games (from disc) using multiman (latest version although have tried others with same result). I used to use multiman alot on my old phat CFW ps3 with rebug and it worked like a charm. However it has recently bit the dust and decided to do a ps3 with evil nat 4.88. All going well until I tried to rip one of my ps2 discs to the console, as so as I do they just fail immediately as if it cannot read the disc. Now I have noticed every time that multiman only reads this as a generic playstation 2 disc It does this with every game tried at least 10 - 15, then through some magic of restarting multiman in CFW mode then back to cobra it works albeit only the create iso mode and also very slowly. At this point multiman was still reading it as a non descript ps2 game (didn't read as the correct title for the game) Then through trying to use irismman and playing about with a magic combination of setting switches instead I went back to multiman all of a sudden and it was working perfectly even displaying the full title of the ps2 disc entered (Twisted metal black) I was then able to create and ISO as normal and everything worked perfectly. However I cannot create this perfect storm of events to get this working again which sucks and i'm at a loss as to how to fix it. I really don't want to have to reinstall everything to find out it was dumb user error, or even worse that it didn't fix it. As you can imagine this is very annoying any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for the wall of text but wanted to give as much info as possible.
Thanks in advance,
Andre
