Ok so first off I will provide as much information as necessary sorry if I add to much or not enough lol.
Ps3 - CechH01 recently professionally refurbished, reballed and reapplied thermal paste
Firmware - Rebug 4.81.2 D-Rex
Cobra 7.5 and the included version of webman mod are enabled
Using prep-ntfs 1.17 for my ntfs formated usb stick.
My first issue seems to be my call of duty world at war disk is recognized on the xmb but upon starting the game a black screen appears and the console freezes. The disk is clean and works flawless in my 3000a1 slim model
Other game disks I've tested on my cechh01 seem to work fine
Disk games tested that work and run flawless
Cod 4
Cod mw2
Cod ghost
Backup isos tested and working flawless
Sonic's ultimate collection - ps3
Army of two devil's cartel - ps3
Tony Hawks pro skater 5 -ps3
Burnout 3 takedown - ps2
Crash bandicoot - ps1
Grand theft auto 2 - ps1
Second issue discovered was with a Madden NFL 2005 PS1 iso game, the game is on my ntfs usb as such PS3USB/PSXISO/gamename.iso
Shows up in webman and mounts to the xmb just fine, but upon starting the game the screen will turn black and freeze the console, when I restart the console the game is mounted automatically via the webman option and will load and play perfectly fine?
Last issue encountered before coming here is with my call of duty black ops 3 iso. Mounts to the xmb and loads completely to the initial setup screen (adjusting brightness ect) then freezes
Oh and I've tried launching each game via multiman with similar results
could the backup be corrupt or could this be related to my other problems? Before I go deleting my backups unnecessarily
I have tried disabling corba and webman then re enabling them via Rebug tool box and also reinstalled the cfw.
Last but not least dynamic speed control via webman is set to 72c so I don't think overheating could by my issue.
