PS2 MX4SIO not loading games

Hello all, recently i decided to switch from an MC2SIO card to a MX4SIO card because for some reason the MC2SIO Card kept corrupting all my game data, forcing me to format the card every time i turned off the console. I decided to buy an MX4SIO card from amazon and no matter what I do i cannot get any of my games to show in OPL. I've taken every necessary precaution such as making sure the SD Card is in FAT32 & updating OPL to the latest version among other things. Also the SD card that I'm using is a new TeamGroup 256gb micro sd that was recommended for the MC2SIO. I have looked through every available source on the Internet and still have no idea what else could be the issue & any advice would be appreciated. I am currently using a slim model 70012 if that helps

Sounds like a contact-issue on your MemoryCard-port.
I mean the old mc2sio card showed up until I had reset the console also fmcb boots fine on both slots so is this is true? If so is there any fixes for this?

@Versatile ("Project Phoenix Media" on YouTube) recently posted a video regarding MX4SIO and the performance affected by it. There is a good example how to "bend" the connectors A BIT up, to guarantee better connectivity.

Gave this a try and unfortunately I'm not sure it made too much a difference. However I seemingly managed to fix the corruption issue with my original mc2sio card. So i might just have to chalk it up to the card I bought being garbage quality.

I just got a MX4SIO card and it came with a 64GB sd card with some ps2 games on it. It shows up fine in opl for mx4sio. But, when I made my own 256GB sd card (samsung pro plus) card, nothing will show up. It works fine in regular OPL through the usb (so I know my config is correct) but not in the MX4SIO. I know my card reader is good because the other sd card works fine. I have now also tried with a generic 8gb card with the same results. Any help? thanks!
