My ps3 is still in HWF 4.87.1 with HEN 3.0.3 | How im supposed to update?

Heard some rumors that ps3xploit got patched so im really nervous about installing HFW 4.88.1 since idk if ill be able to install HEN again, anyone could like, explain it to me a lil bit? thxs
 
Hi buddy. First of all, yes, there is a new firmware update, which is 4.88. Fortunately, we already have HFW 4.88.1 ready for HEN 3.0.3, which work very well and return all the functions we had. You could continue in HFW 4.87.1 with HEN 3.0.3, the only problem would be that you could not login to PSN and play online. If you prefer, you have to install the new version of HFW, and then install the HEN. That way you make sure you are up to date and can use the online functions of your console.

I downloaded latest HFW but when i plug it in on my ps3 it wont detect the new update, yes i did put the file on the correct path
 
Help! I got new disk 240 gb 2,5 Sata, Kingstone from ELKO I have restore the PS3 and hold select and start but nothing is working it says update 4.88 or later but the PS3 is on update 4.88 Already. I did also try format my USB fast and slow formating all correct the USB is FAT 32 But the PS3 is not readu my USB.. I have try many methods nothing works "No applicable update data was found" ???
