Need a little help understanding…

I tried to install the hybrid custom firmware and it installed and still dose the hybrid firmware 4.91 but after I installed it it's still not letting me install the autohen I swapped out the hdd for a 1tb I installed the hybrid 4.91 but now I can't get my browser to open auto hen it just spits out error. I tried using the debug tool to see if that would make a difference but it didn't I still can't open ps3xploit page. Do I have to flash the firmware then install it? Still trying to figure out if the flash tool is used if the firmware ? Also I would love to downgrade the firmware but the system doesn't let me and I tried through safe mode and menu but both unsuccessful

There is hybrid firmware and custom firmware. No hybrid custom firmware.
If you have a problem installing hen automatically, go through the manual installation.
You have access to the debug tools, so you've already have CFW running on your console. No need to install hen on top of that.
You need to check the minver of your console to know what the minimum version you can install is.
BTW, your post is a little confusing. Try to describe your console and what kind of jailbreak you want to do with your console.

I have 4.91firm ware installed from jbguerville firmware I tried to downgrade it but it didn't work the ps3 will not let me install a lower firmware than 4.91 I tried to use the autohen intaller but it didn't work for me but the main problem I have is not getting tools installed I need to install multiman installer or appolo save tool but I am not able to see anything on the flash drive the ps3 sees that the flash drive is there but it is like there is nothing on the flash drive when that is not the case because the applo save tool file and multiman file are on there when I look at it from my laptop. You need to have cfw running on your console and qa flag activated on it in order to downgrade it. But from what I understand from your post, you don't need downgrading. Just forget about downgrading for now.

In order to install those tools (homebrew applications) first of all you need to jailbreak your PS3. HEN or CFW.

the applo save tool file and multiman file are on there when I look at it from my laptop.

Take a screenshot of your laptop and post it here and let us check if you have copied the files correctly.

You don't need to know every single detail about it. Just use a good tutorial to jailbreak and use tools. As I said before, you can find them through YouTube or this site.
If you think you're getting too confused about it, don't risk your console a soft break. Just find a game shop store around your neighborhood. They usually provide this kind of stuff.

Every thing you said was correct. And I deeply thank you for your help and every effort you put in to this. The challenge of overcoming the security is such a huge rush to me and I felt such an overwhelming accomplishment to be able to do this. Some people get lucky and it's as easy as click and install but not in my case fony inc was blocking every step. But I did it anyway thanks again for your help. Turns out I was stuck so long because browser blocking and yo find a little breadcrumb link in some random comment lead me to an auto hen that was my KEY if one last request for when I help a gamer friend or two. Is there any way to download autohen this is what I was looking for but could not find only I could find an upload. Autohen. But it would be a really cool file to have and then I could use an app to have then auto host it myself. Why did you installed HEN while you have CECH-21xx? On those models you can install CFW which gives you highly more freedom. I.e you can read ERK by which if console die, you will be able read data on pc from disk. Not to mention autoboot with hack while HEN needs extra steps.
