Need help activating rap licenses with a ps3 I can't activate.

So it's been awhile since I've used one of my cfw ps3's since I mainly use my 3000 slim with hen as my main console, but I have the other the hard drive filled up so im using my cfw ps3 for extra storage.

The issue here is I swapped hard drives on my cfw ps3's so I had to reset them and reinstall cfw, which deleted the activated psn
accounts I used to have on the hard drive.
Can't I use reactpsn to activate the licences without a psn account? I just want to use the ps2 classics placeholder app but I can't without a activated licence.

reactpsn will generate a fake act.dat. and, as long as the cfw you're using has the reactpsn patch as psdevwiki calls it, the act.dat won't be deleted at reboot. I've yet to see a cfw without this patch though. anyway, that's what I had to do after I was banned on my original ps3, then formatted the system. I had no issues with it. just create an account named aa , then use reactpsn. it should rename the account to reactpsnxxxrifxxxedat or something like that. create another new account and name it aa again, then you won't have to keep renaming the reactpsnxxxrifxxxedat account. that's the way I had mine setup since the beginning. it's much easier that way.

as mentioned, when I had a cfw console, I could install anything fine creating an account named aa. I was banned, formatted the console and still could install anything doing these steps. On hen is that activation is necessary because it is needed for the on the fly activation and reactpsn doesnt work on it.

I'm assuming the reason it doesn't work on hen is that it requires a patch to the vsh.self, which afaik isn't possible with hen, because the encrypted file would fail to load upon restart. I don't know if it can be patched in memory (probably), but once you shutdown the system or restart, the act.dat would be deleted. that was the problem originally, but that patch fixes that problem (only for cfw).

Yeah,i got the license stuff sorted out now.The ps2 classics launcher won't work properly though on cfw,but I atleast don't get the license error anymore.

I also figured out how to apply configs to the mounted iso's,so I don't need it after all then.
