PS3HEN Need help getting online with HEN 3.2.2

Hello all, I recently installed HEN onto my super slim but skipped the part where you activate your ps3 for PSN. Now Im trying to create an account, but it says I need to install the latest OFW to go online?
Someone told me to install the latest HFW and try that, but I thought I was already on it.
Do I install the latest update and reinstall HEN? does it work like that?
He also mentioned I could bypass the update with webMAN somehow, but I thought in order to play on line you had to unload webMAN before launching the game while connecting?

First you install firmware, then login to your account, and activate console, then logoff from your account and install hen. You can use mrmario2011 tutorials on youtube. You can also activate your unit with apollo, but i'm not sure if in that way you can play safely online.

So essentially I start over from scratch... Ok lol. I'll check the tutorial-- I had another question though, do you happen to know if I migrate between HDDs will I also lose my HEN? Im upgrading today and the normal guide seems easy enough, is there a better way to do it with homebrew though?

EDIT: But to be totally clear I can update to the latest OFW and still install HEN after right? Its not locked at certain update like other consoles?

Yes, if you change hdd, you should install all from the start. But you can ftp your important stuff to pc, and then restore it when you change the drive, just make sure to rebuild database if you use ftp method.
