Ok i agree. but i created the second account because i lost the password for this one. my google account was hacked so i lost everything. i slowly getting passwords for all my sites. yes there was time i used both. you have already banned the new account. You should just use your original account @Luisile , since this is a duplicate account you are posting from.
Hence the need for such a setup we have here.
.Now to legitimate user's just create a new thread asking the question you need here in this forum.
You can link the thread, Add same title with "RE: Thread Title" or any title. If its a legitimate post / account we will merge that with the main thread or related thread when your account has been upgraded/

Question : What if i want to create a new thread? also just post it here and you will do it for me?
thanks for answer
What the hell man? Are you trhreatening him? What wront with his answer? I would write exatly the same thing! Why it is too much effort to change a better fan? When its too much effort the he should not even eat its also too much effort. i really dont know whats wrong with you. I stand here by @Luisile.
Ps i have not found on google any mention that somebody has changed the ps2 bios for a flasheable one-. If you have any resources, go ahead and post them! I want also look on that so far @Luisile is right with all, and dont threat peple here!
@Admins @STLcardsWS @DeViL303 @Berion are you ok with that?
is this only for new accounts? and have to donate to level up?To counter some abuse we have detected. we have decided to restrict some forum access for new posting accounts for the time being
- New Thread Creation & Post replies for New User's can only be done within the "The Starting Point (New User Forum)" once your account passes various flags. Your account will be automatically upgraded/by staff to a normal user.
All good standing threads/Post will be moved by staff to the appropriate section of the forum as needed.
Apologies for any inconveniences caused, the system will be tweaked as needed.
So by posting here my account will pass the new norms? It is quite weird as my account is not new
is this only for new accounts? and have to donate to level up?
I mainly access these forums for the config information on PS1/PS2 FPKGs for PS4 and how to get them working, but recently I realized I might need some assistance with backporting a game I have, so I hope I can ask about that here.
why was i put here![]()
are there any points to level up?Not necessarily. Once your account is confirmed not to break any rules nor spam the forums, it'll be upgraded to normal user as stated in this thread.
This is for new and old accounts alike.
Donations are not required.
I can see how it could look as un-welcoming but its really not your only restricted in location as a new poster. You can still ask any question and have the ability to get the same response .
Most members of the site will use the Latest Post page or Latest Post blocks on the main forum page Typically most do not even know where or pay attention the post originates from, almost most are helpful no matter, . In some cases may even be easier for senior members and staff to see your thread/post which would get more attention in the long run.
So for us that do post in the forums often, rather then someone with 3 post since 2020 i think we will take step to ensure the less amount of annoyances for everyone. That is the goal to achieve at least. I think most understand where we are coming from on this.
The downside is, if you already had a thread going, and now you can't continue in said thread. I was getting more help (and faster) by posting DIRECTLY in the thread that I needed the help with (PSBBN in my case) as the person responsible for that patch was himself involved in helping. THAT is where this new restriction fails. how is it more convenient to wait a week and have no answers, vs getting an answer same or next day? if you want to implement this, then people NEED to be monitoring those threads, especially when it comes to something that literally just released a few weeks ago...
All good standing threads/Post will be moved by staff to the appropriate section of the forum as needed.
I HAVE. As I stated, I was already being helped in that thread before this new restriction was implemented. I'm not EXPECTING same day replies, but I was definitely getting more help (and in turn allowing other people to get the same answers to similar questions) way faster than this current system. I get that there needed to be some moderation done due to abuse , but it has also made this site seem less welcoming. I don't post often because I only post when i need help. if i can understand what is posted already, then 1) someone already asked, or 2) it was explained well, and i have no need to post. this BY DEFINITION is following the site's guidelines. something i have done since 2021. THIS is why it feels like an unjust restriction. because i was doing EXACTLY what the guidelines say to do and still i get restricted…Read the first post:
Also, what makes you so sure that you will get an answer on the same day in the other post?.
I have used this site for a long time, but as far as I can remember, I never signed up here before now. If I did at some point, I definitely don't remember doing it!
Like the other guy said, I will only post if I have legitimate questions, but most of the time, I can find my answers by just searching the forums. Therefore, I had no reason to post.
In my opinion, it does feel a little unwelcoming, almost like being grouped in with people who spam and abuse the forum rules. However, at the same time, I completely understand why it has to be this way.
Maybe in the future, there will be a better way to address these kinds of issues, but that's just my uneducated opinion since I personally know nothing about running a forum!
But please don't misunderstand me I am very grateful for this forum and all the people who keep it running.
