Hi there everyone!

I grew up around videogames as many of you. My first console was a Gameboy but my uncle had a PSX which I enjoyed more. The problem is that he tried to mod it so it would read any kind of disks but something went wrong and you just could't save games, but it would read any disk you placed in there! :saturn:

So for many years I played PSX trying to make the games in one go, so that was tough! Afterwards I got a PS2 but I didn't know enough to try to modify it. I still have it intact just with a HDMI coverter.

Then a PSP came into my hands and here is where the fun began. So I came into the world of modding consoles and I really enjoyed it. Those were good times scrolling to the egg to launch the exploit! Which actually didn't work always may be 60/40 so some times I just got tired of trying.

After that I got a PS3 and also a PSVita and had a lot of fun with both. Recently I got a PS4 and I haven't tinkered much with it just the basics.

I have used a lot of guides and posts of this forum but never signed actually. I would like to get to update some of my consoles and I'm finding quite messy to look for what I'm looking for. So I need some extra help, also I have encountered many problems modding so may be I can help people too.

Thanks to everyone in this comunity! You rock!

PS: The title is a reference to Loki TV show:star:

About PSP: because You using HEN. Currently all fw are hackable and all can have CFW.
Yeah I updated it as soon as something new was realeased. Just pointing out my experience with it, also I think PSP HEN is one of my favourite console exploits, kind of fun trigerring it trough the gallery :biggrin2: Just checked and I have my PSP in 6.60 with Fast Recovery Pro, I imagine there are better and cooler things you can do now but I haven't played with it for a long time. I think I played almost all the good games released for this handheld. I wish the Vita had half the good catalogue the PSP had.

On PSV/PSTV, we have literally CFW of PSP and the same capabilities. Game library on PSV alone is disappointing at best, but the scene flourishing and everything from PSP works fine to, due to virtualisation. I very like my PSTV.

I remember PSV/PSTV was quite a challenge for the scene, but after the first steps it was a lot of fun what you could do with them that's true. I will take a look to upgrade my PSP from 6.60 with Fast Recovery Pro to the most recent thing. Mmmm ok I'm reading that for the cFW you need to have a compatible device and mine is PSP 3000 so I don't think I can improve it any more.

Unfortunatly I don't have the PSV any more I sold it to buy the PS4 PRO, sometimes I regret it because the hardware is incredible with the AMOLED screen and everything I love it, but I don't think I would play much with it too few top games. I still have some to finish in my PS3 and too many in my PS4 :biggrin2:

You can sell PSP and buy PSTV, You will get both PSP and PSV in one device, tiny, elegant and with TV, USB mass and DS3/4 support. ;d 100% compatible with both because they have their hardware.

i never see any vitas in local game shops or craigslist. i used my psp for retro, tv/movies, reading doctor who books, to watch/control pc/ps3, and even as a controller on ps3/wii/pc. i would love to see what vita can do.

PSV/PSTV have PSP inside so everything is compatible, and thanks to Adrenaline, we can literally booting virtualised PSP CFW. Emulated Memory Stick Pro Duo is inside "ux0:/pspemu/" if I remember correct.

My PSP like my NDS (fat) or Game Boy Color have some special value to me, I don't think I can get that in money. Also PSP can be emulated in Android and PC, I haven't tested PSV in this way but I don't have more games that I want to play from it

I have plenty of games in the PS3 and PS4 which I want to play. I did love the PSVita hardware but I needed to choose, as I bought this handheld as an adult it didn't have the special value that my old devices have.

But it's good to know the capabilites of the PSTV because I have never saw one of those. Not very popular in my country.

PSVita has a small Playstation catalogue but many emulation options to enjoy and tinker. I'm more into PS3 and PS4 more games and posibilities. It's difficult to have time for everything.
