PS3 NEW Plugin by Mysis (POC Plugin v 0.2) - XMB / BD / In-Game SceenShot , Live Game Recording, BGM

Developer Mysis, who has developed other useful tools for the scene like NORinspector for example, has released a very impressive Proof of Concept Plugin for the ps3 a few hours ago. In this plugin, some very nice features have been added including,XMB Screenshot, In-game Screenshots, BD Screenshots, In-game Background Music, Dumping game Klicense, and a first time ever,(to my knowledge) Live Game Recording! This plugin looks to be on track with alot of stuff the scene has wanted for a long time now, and i am very excited to see future revisions as it can only get even better. Read more about it below:

Select: Game Screenshot (XMB ingame)
L1 : Display plugin menu (all XMB Modes)
L2 : Make Screenshot (Main XMB + Blu-ray (Kudos 3141card!))
L3 : Open WebBrowser with PS3WiKi (Main XMB)
R1 : Dump game KLicensee (XMB ingame)
R2 : Enable/Disable Background Music (XMB ingame)
R3 : Start/Stop Gameplay recording (XMB ingame, almost like on ps4!)

mysis needs to know if you used any special trick to make that game working, cause on his part it isn't working

 

If you try to record gameplay on the new rebug 4.65.2 it will go to PS'3 safe mode, asks to plug in the controller with the cable....
Also one suggestion, why when pressing the L1 the menu shows up for a bit and then fades away, it should stay on.

Although it does do that on some games is it just that or others too?
I had likes of agarest, dungeon siege 3 few others too booted into safe mode

try others and see, also its better to have webman off

I tried on all the test builds and all was okay. Havent hot had a chance to flash the latest update but i had a build that was just a couple days older.

It was wired though throwing me back to safe mode, when you connect your controller it wont load to safe mode options screen it will just say press the ps to to restart the system.

After that Webman starts acting on the starts, sometimes it takes a couple of minutes to auto load games...reinstalled CFW but still same thing.

Will try it again later on GT6 and try webman off.

Skyrim goty was the game that didnt work btw.

1 & 2. Yes

BTW most of the features of this POC are already implemented in webMAN MOD (thanks to @mysis for share the source code)
