PS3 HAN New way to put 4GB more Games

new method of putting packages larger than 4gb in the usb
1-Install trueancestor backup retailer
2-Make a backup of your ps3 with the han installed on your ps3
2-put the backup in the backup folder
3-put the package in pkg folder
4-run trueancestor click on 1 to select backup and 8 to select pkg and then click s to proceed and writte ok
5-Wait a few minutes then copy the backup and restore on ps3
6-Go to act / rif copier and that's it the game works fine

Actually this is old method used before HAN was released. Is ok if you have ~15 GB games on PS3, but if you have almost full 500GB of PS3, and want to add one game.. You know.

this dont seem to serve people many have got this idea but we want to gain our new games without losing the installled one that's the case

Not to be rude but I think this will be very painful to do now especially if your hard disk is full

Its more compilcated than the pkg linker one, u better go for pkg linker, this is an old method.

For those without Ethernet this would be a way to do it, instead of PKG Splitting

Some people are getting error NET framework in pkg linker

If u get NET Framework error, just go and run as administrator, i try it myself and it worked good for me.

Well then u need to install NET Framework 4.0.

Connect ethernet cable from PS3 to Lappy. Start PKG Linker App on PC/Lappy. Refresh the list on PS3. Reboot. Install game after reboot. Activate it with rif. Play the game. Total time : 10 mins.

Assuming your PS3 has 01 game, then no problem. Assuming you have a 500 GB drive with 450 GB full, your method is a nightmare.

This is not a new method. This is when you want to torture yourself, but can't find your kitchen knife.

Ethernet cables go for 99 cents a pop. They are cheap. If you have a ADSL modem at your home at some point, you already have it. Why not use that.
