PS3 Nightmare with ps3 Fat

Hey all, i have a backwards compatible ps3 which developed a fault and wouldnt switch on (2nd time this happened) did the heat gun trick and replaced the thermal paste again, temporary i know! Ive brought a slim to transfer all the data. Over 24 hours this took i was hoping it would transfer everything especially my 100+ Singstar dlc songs but does not appear to be the case. Im a bit of a noob when it comes to modding but it looks like it is the only route to getting Singstar songs across to my other ps3. Hoping someone out there will be able to guide me in baby steps on how to get my songs across that i paid good money for sony to not allow to use as i please.
